Milwaukee Panthers win eighth consecutive Horizon League Women's Soccer Tournament Championship
It was an all-Wisconsin championship match.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is the most successful school in the history of Horizon League soccer. No other member of the conference has won more of its championship tournaments in the sport, in both the men’s and women’s competition. The latter has just extended their era of dominance.
For the eighth year in a row, the Milwaukee Panthers women are the champions of the Horizon League Soccer Tournament. They did so with a commanding 4-0 victory the championship round over an in-state rival in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Milwaukee came into the tournament as the #1 overall side, while Green Bay entered with a #5 ranking. With their Horizon League crown secured, the Panthers have also earned an automatic invitation to the upcoming Division I NCAA Tournament to decide the National Championship.
Both Milwaukee and Green Bay were also well-represented on the All-Tournament Team announced after the title game was over. The Panthers’ delegation was led by Kristina Karlof, who in addition was named as the tournament’s MVP. She was joined by her teammates Anna Champine, Bella Hollenbach and Lola Wojcik. Meanwhile, Anna Scott, Becca Stoeckmann and Laney Stark were all featured from the runners-up.
